About Rachel Fowler

Rachel Fowler is a writer and director who based from a personal experience of grief and pain, penned her first ever Short script Stillness, which was produced by Kate and Five Fifty Five. Celebrating the strength to endure sadness, the story follows a photographer as she helps new families deal with early losses.

Writer and Director Rachel Fowler is an accomplished stage actress, theatre producer and director, and former literary manager for LOCAL Theater Company. She previously produced and performed in Mrs. Drake, a short film from Noggin Sauce Pictures that did exceptionally well during festival rounds – having gotten into a total of 18, from the NBC Universal Shorts, New Hampshire, Woods Hole and Idyllwild, where she won best actress & best short film. Her current focus is on writing, and “Stillness” is her first short script.
